Barrio Dogs, Inc. is proud to announce that its founder and president Gloria Medina Zenteno was honored with a 2012 Mayor’s Volunteer Houston award. The awards are given annually by Volunteer Houston in partnership with the Mayor’s Office to acknowledge individuals and groups who have performed exceptional volunteer service in the Houston community. Gloria and the other award winners
were recognized at a luncheon on May 10, 2012 at the Westin Oaks Hotel where the Honorable
Mayor Annise Parker presented each honoree with an award. Go Gloria! We are so proud of you.
