Our dear friend and Barrio Dogs' supporter Gwen Juarez found a homeless dog in her neighborhood. She lives in Greater Northside where homeless strays are very common. Sadly, we are not able to take the dog, who she named Clifford, into our program but Barrio Dogs is sponsoring all of his vetting.Gwen took Clifford to Gulfgate Animal Hospital where he received his vaccines and will eventually be neutered. The vet says Clifford is healthy, heart worm negative and weighs 40 pounds. He looks like a Shar Pei mix.
